WC residents braving frigid temps

Westchester County may have been spared by snow this week, but the region is not out of the woods yet, with bone-chilling temperatures hitting the area. Residents in Yorktown say they would take dropping mercury over slush and snow any day. UPS driver Bob Eisenhower says it's easier to make deliveries when there is no snow blanketing the ground. "My friend was complaining this morning and I said, 'do not complain. At least we don't have snow,'" says Allison Mancini, of Yorktown. Yorktown resident Shawn Valentine says when deciding between snow and bitter-cold temps, snow wouldn't be his first choice, citing the need to shovel.
