Bronx residents battled the elements as a nor'easter hammered the borough with heavy rain and high winds Tuesday. 

Residents are being reminded to not touch power lines that may have been taken down by toppled trees, as well as to be cautious of flooded areas that can be deceptive. Do not try to walk across or drive through any stretches of sitting water.

Pockets of showers will continue to move across the area through Wednesday. Some places may see wet flakes come Thursday, but Friday and the weekend remain clear.
