Shoppers skip turkey for Thanksgiving deals

While Thanksgiving is usually reserved for family gatherings, many retailers pushed shoppers to grab some early deals and bypass the Black Friday mayhem.



The Toys 'R Us store in Baychester Plaza was one of the retailers open on Thanksgiving Day.



Those at the store said they were taking advantage of deals on products like the Playstation 4.



While not many people were willing to take their turkey to go, those who did were first in line for some hot ticket items.
