New York among finalists to host 2016 DNC

New York City has been named one of three finalists to host the 2016 Democratic National Convention.

Mayor Bill de Blasio has been pushing since this summer to get the event to Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

Philadelphia and Columbus, Ohio are New York's remaining competitors after the elimination of Birmingham and Phoenix.

Republicans have already picked Cleveland as the site for their 2016 convention.
