Kingsbridge Heights accident injures 5

A car crash in Kingsbridge Heights sent five people to the hospital, including three children.



The incident occurred at around 6 p.m. Saturday when an SUV and two other cars collided at West Kingsbridge Road and University Avenue. Witnesses say one of the cars was trying to make a U-turn while another may have been speeding.



Three children were taken to nearby hospitals. One is in serious but stable condition.



Two adults were also treated for non-life threatening injuries.



The official cause of the accident is still under investigation.
