Elevators unveiled at Hunts Point subway stop

Some Bronx commuters finally have elevators at their subway station.

Six train riders now have three ADA accessible elevators to reach platforms at the Hunts Point Avenue station, located near Southern Boulevard.

Construction on the $17.8 million project started back in Feb. 2012.

Its completion makes Hunts Point the 84th fully ADA accessible subway station in the city.
