Video released of suspect in train homicide

Police have released surveillance video of a man suspected of pushing a commuter onto subway tracks and killing him.

According to investigators, 61-year-old Wai Kuen Kwok was intentionally shoved in front of a D train at 167th Street and the Grand Concourse at around 9 a.m. Sunday.

They say Kwok was killed on impact, while the suspect ran from the scene and jumped onto a Bx35 bus.

Kwok's wife witnessed the homicide, and was taken to the hospital to be treated for trauma.

It remains unclear what led to the incident.

Officers have posted fliers with Kwok's photo, offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone who thinks they can help, should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
