A Soundview man is behind bars after police say he slashed the necks of his son and stepson Friday night.
The incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m. at 1050 Ward Ave.
Police say Christopher Stephenson attacked the 9- and 17-year-old victims and then fled for Soundview Park, where he was taken into custody.
Stephenson is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police say they are still working to determine a motive for the attack.
