Bronx students encourage residents to vote

Bronx students spread a message about the importance of voting this Election Day.

Students of the Bronx Prep Middle School and High School, which are now run by Democracy Prep Public Schools, came out to the South Bronx along Third Avenue to encourage residents to vote.

This is the first time that a Bronx school is participating in the "Get Out The Vote" campaign.

The "I can't vote but you can" slogan is one part of the Democracy Prep program.
