Cop found guilty of conspiring with drug dealers

An NYPD officer has been found guilty of conspiring with known drug dealers.
A jury convicted Jose Ramos for criminal possession of a controlled substance, attempted grand larceny and robbery.
According to investigators, Ramos was allowing an alleged drug dealer to operate out of two barbershops he owned in the Bronx back in 2008. Wiretaps additionally revealed that he was involved in plots to steal from other dealers and to transport drugs.
Ramos is also being charged in connection with a ticket-fixing scam involving 15 other police officers.
He faces up to 30 years in prison.
