Bronx man convicted in deadly 2009 shooting
A Bronx man could spend the next 25 years in prison after being convicted in a deadly shooting from back in 2009.
A supreme court jury found Joseph Diaz guilty of manslaughter Monday in the death of Aisha Santiago on Willis Avenue and East 146th Street.
According to investigators, Santiago was with her 9-year-old son when a stray bullet hit in her in the heart. They say Diaz had been aiming for a man who allegedly had a problem with his cousin.
Diaz is expected to be sentenced next month.
