BREWSTER - Loved ones bid farewell to a Brewster teen who took his own life earlier this week.

Services for 13-year-old Michael Graham were held today at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Lake Carmel. According to police, Graham shot himself in the head with a handgun Monday while his father was at the grocery store.

Family and friends are now trying to cope with his loss, wondering whether the teen had enough help available. One resident says the availability of guns in the home and limited mental health resources could have played a role in Graham's death.

State police are investigating whether or not the gun used by Graham belonged to his father.
