Police: No threat after bomb squad investigates suspicious packages

Police say there is no threat after the bomb squad was called in to investigate suspicious packages Saturday in Fair Lawn.
They say the bomb squad was on the scene since 7:40 a.m. outside a residence on Banta Place. They say they discovered 12 suspicious packages on the street corner along Rosalie Street, that have since been removed.
Neighbors say some of the packages were filled with fireworks and candles.
"It sounds like pranks," one neighbor says. "I'm not overly concerned."
Officials say no homes were evacuated and it is not clear who left the packages.
