YORKTOWN - Crews in northern Westchester are getting ready for Wednesday's snowstorm.

The Yorktown Highway Department has ordered 3,000 tons of salt to use on the roads after the storm.

To maintain the roads, officials are asking residents to not push the snow into the street when they clean their driveways.

Snowfall totals are expected in the 3-5 inch range south of I-287 and 6-12 inches north and west of I-287.

A quarter-inch of ice could top the snow, making driving conditions extremely dangerous.
