YONKERS - A Yonkers neighborhood was on edge Thursday as police searched for a possible burglar.

A mysterious man was spotted in someone's backyard on St. John Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, and police say he's still on the run.

Several intersections were shut down as police tried to find the man.

At around 1 a.m., News 12 was told that police chased a person near Tibbetts Brook Park but did not catch them.
