YONKERS - The Yonkers Early College High School's band held their first spring concert this morning.

The 60-member band performed pieces ranging from classical to jazz and rock in the school's auditorium.

The group was under the direction of music teacher Joseph Lento, who put the ensemble together with little money and virtually no instruments.
