Yonkers business owner David Justino, Dr. Oz help save tourist hit by car

WESTCHESTER - A Bronx plumber and the owner of Aquarium and Critters warehouse in Yonkers is being called a hero after helping save the life of a British tourist on vacation in New York City who was mowed down by a cab Tuesday afternoon.

The tourist, 23-year-old Sian Green, had her foot severed and lost her other leg during the accident. David Justino stayed with the victim and used his belt as a tourniquet for her severe injuries.

Dr. Mehmet Oz, who rushed down from his office at Radio City, credits the plumber with saving the woman's life.

Although doctors were unable to save her leg and foot, she's alive thanks to Justino.

He says he plans on visiting Green while she is hospitalized.
