WHITE PLAINS - An elderly couple in White Plains has been forced out of their home right before Christmas after a late night fire badly damaged their apartment.
 
Officials say fire crews were called at around 11 p.m. to an apartment building on North Broadway.
 
Authorities say the fire started in the radiator of the fifth-floor apartment, and that the couple was able to get out with no injuries.
