A JetBlue flight out of Westchester County Airport was forced to make an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport Friday after it struck a bird.

Airport officials say JetBlue Flight 671 took off from White Plains just before 9:30 a.m. on its way to West Palm Beach, Fla. The plane was diverted to JFK, where it landed safely.
