Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino discusses possible gubernatorial campaign with News 12
WHITE PLAINS - News 12 Westchester sat down exclusively with Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino to talk about his potential run for governor.
Astorino didn't officially confirm anything, despite endorsements from prominent Republicans and a report in Monday's New York Post saying he will be running. The two-term Republican says he's leaning toward running, but nothing is official yet.
Astorino admitted he's waiting to be convinced of the possible campaign's viability, especially where money is concerned. His potential opponent and fellow Westchester resident, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, already has $33 million in campaign funds.
