West Point cadet faces drug charges

WEST POINT - A cadet at the U.S. Military Academy is facing charges of conspiring to distribute cocaine and oxycodone.

Cadet Ammon Tuimaunei, of California, is a member of West Point's class of 2017 and a former member of the Army football team

Tuimauneiā€™s case comes four months after six cadets were charged with similar drug offenses.

Two of those accused cadets will now face military court martials.
