YONKERS - While it is technically spring already, winter weather has the Hudson Valley in its grip this week.
News 12 Meteorologist Joe Rao says temperatures are almost 15 degree below normal, and wind gusts make the "feels like" temperatures in the single digits this morning.
The good news is that a coastal snowstorm is expected to skirt the region on Tuesday. Rao says the storm, which may bring between 3-6 inches to eastern Long Island and coastal Connecticut will bring flurries starting tomorrow afternoon in the Hudson Valley. Rao predicts the snow will only accumulate up to an inch across the Hudson Valley.
Rao say the cold weather is expected to continue through Wednesday, but the temperatures should be in the 50s by Friday.
