YONKERS - The Hudson Valley can start digging out from the latest snowstorm to hit the region.

News 12 Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says the National Weather Service has canceled its winter weather advisory. Van Eck says some moderate snow bands may still add a coating to an inch of snow to what has already fallen, but by 2 p.m. the snow threat should be over. Snowfall totals should finish anywhere between 1 and 3 inches. There may be some drizzle or scatter showers later this afternoon.

Van Eck says milder temperatures will flood into the area behind the storm and temperatures with highs in the upper 30s and 40s should last for the next five days.

Another storm is expected Friday, though it will most likely be all rain.
