YONKERS - Rain will continue throughout the evening and falling temperatures means much colder conditions tonight.

Meteorologists say temperatures will continue to drop throughout the evening, with the north and west getting much cooler. The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for this evening. The cold temperatures could turn the rain into freezing rain or even snow overnight.

The storm is expected to clear out overnight and Wednesday is expected to be bright and sunny, but cool with temperatures in the low 50s.

A 45 mph speed restriction is in effect on the Tappan Zee Bridge because of the weather.
