Some Sleepy Hollow residents believe their village board is discriminating against a military veteran.

Greg Lobato, who declined to comment for this story, is a decorated Iraq War veteran and a former Marine captain. He passed the civil service exam and all other necessary criteria, but four village trustees voted in July against allowing him to join Sleepy Hollow's police force.
