WHITE PLAINS - Two vigils were held across the Hudson Valley tonight to remember and honor the 20 children and six adults killed in the Newtown school shooting.

More than 100 people gathered in DeLuca Park in Elmsford for an interfaith candlelight vigil. Those who attended lit candles for each of the victims as well as the first responders who rushed in and tried to help them. Elmsford residents also plan on signing a poster with the photos of the school children and send it to Newtown.

A vigil was also held at the Union Baptist Church in White Plains. Those who attended held candles and remembered the youngest victims of the shooting, who were 6 and 7 years old.
