MONSEY - Ramapo police have released dash cam video aimed at reminding drivers in Rockland County to watch out for pedestrians.

The video shows a mother and child in a stroller almost getting hit by a car whizzing by in a center lane on Route 59 in Monsey.

Moments after the first close call, another person is seen sprinting to safety along three lanes of traffic.

Ramapo police say this is why drivers need to slow down and be aware of their surroundings.
