YONKERS - The owner of a Yonkers car wash is detailing the terrifying experience of being robbed at gunpoint.

Denny O'Hearn, owner of Suds Car Wash on McLean Avenue in Yonkers, says three men stuck a gun to his head and demanded money on Tuesday night. "I turn around and two guns are looking at me, two guys and two guns right at my face. Right into my eye and left temple. And at first I thought this has gotta be some kind of joke," says O'Hearn.

Authorities say the suspects fled the scene, but were soon being chased by police on the New York State Thruway. Eventually the driver hit a guardrail on Saw Mill River Road in Ardsley and the suspects took off on foot. Police tracked them down and arrested all three men.
