People who park along the road say they need to know who to listen to so they don't keep getting tickets.

YONKERS - People parking along Midland Avenue in Yonkers say they are undeservedly getting tickets due to a discrepancy in meter start times.

Signs posted by the Yonkers Parking Authority say the meter starts running at 8 a.m. every day, but the website says street meter parking will be enforced starting at 9 a.m. People who park along the road say they need to know who to listen to so they don't keep getting tickets.

The city's parking authority told News 12 the website is outdated. The chair of the operations committee says the tickets given out between 8 and 9 a.m. will be dismissed.

A meeting will be held Wednesday with parking staff to come to a fair conclusion regarding the street meters.
