Tyler Seger, 19, dies of apparent overdose after being found unresponsive in Cortlandt home

A 19-year-old Cortlandt teen who was found unresponsive at his home has died of an apparent heroin overdose.

YONKERS - A 19-year-old Cortlandt teen who was found unresponsive at his home has died of an apparent heroin overdose.

Tyler Seger died at Hudson Valley Hospital Wednesday after his body was discovered. Seger is one of three suspected heroin overdose victims found in Westchester this week.

A neighbor who knew Seger said he was a nice kid.

Police are awaiting lab results before they can confirm that all three deaths were related to heroin.

Putnam County narcotics officers arrested three people last week and charged them in connection with the alleged sale of heroin in Putnam Valley.
