YONKERS - A vacant two-story house in Yonkers was damaged by fire yesterday.

Fire officials says flames broke around 4 p.m. in the basement of the house at 23 Van Cortlandt Park Ave.

Neighbors tell News 12 that squatters may have been living there.

Fire marshals are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
