YONKERS - IHOP restaurants celebrated "National Pancake Day” by giving away free short stacks.  

In turn, IHOP hopes diners make a donation to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities.

Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP restaurants say they have raised $13 million to support charities in the communities in which they operate.
