Con Edison crews had to repair fallen power lines on Odell Avenue.

YONKERS - A fallen tree created a quite a scary and chaotic scene in Yonkers overnight.

Residents say a massive tree came crashing down around 1:30 a.m. today on Odell Avenue by Hawley Terrace. It blocked the roadway, took down power lines, and crushed a car parked beside it.

Crews were able to quickly clear the tree from the roadway, but Con Edison crews remained on the scene to repair fallen power lines.

The driver of the Kia says she was getting ready for work when she got the call. No injuries were reported.
