MOUNT VERNON - Hundreds of residents of a Mount Vernon building, who have been without heat this week, are now without water following a pipe burst.

Management for The Oakwood Gardens Complex on East Lincoln Avenue tried to start up the heat Wednesday and a pipe burst, flooding several apartments.

The landlord has been issued a summons because of the lack of heat. He is due in city court Friday.

News 12 Westchester saw the building's superintendent working but it's not known when heat will be fixed.
