Jenna Nolan, 14, drowns in Lake Mahopac off of Tamerack Road

A 14-year-old girl drowned in Lake Mahopac Friday afternoon. The girl was identified as Jenna Nolan, an eighth-grader and star athlete at Mahopac Middle School.

A 14-year-old girl drowned in Lake Mahopac Friday afternoon.

The girl was identified as Jenna Nolan, an eighth-grader and star athlete at Mahopac Middle School.

Police say the incident occurred off of Tamerack Road shortly after 1 p.m. They say a call came in that a young female swimmer disappeared from the community dock off the western side of Mahopac Point.
