YORKTOWN - The combination of the sun and warmer temperatures today had some people thinking that we've seen the worst of the winter weather.

It was so nice that homeowners and work crews were able to venture outside to try and get rid of all the recent snow.

The temporary break from the cold and snow was good news for everyone, especially contractors and homeowners with the heavy snow piled up on their roofs.

Road crews in Yorktown also had time to catch up on projects delayed due to the conditions.

While today was nice, it is expected to get cold again next week.
