ARMONK - Armonk middle school students volunteered their time Tuesday to make teddy bears for sick children in various hospitals.

The students from H.C. Crittenden Middle School were working with the Heavenly Productions Foundation, a nonprofit that helps children in distress. The organization was started by Dr. Kathy Reilly Fallon in 2003 and provides teddy bears to sick children nationwide, plus in Haiti and Africa.

"It makes us very happy because we know we are helping the kids that don't have much," says student Arianna Tedesco.

The bears will be delivered next month to the Blythdale Children's Hospital in Valhalla and the Children's Hospital in Philadelphia.
