YORKTOWN - The rough winter is depleting snow removal budgets in the region.

Somers Highway Superintendent Thomas Chiaverini says his town has already used about half of its materials. According to Chiaverini, Somers has spent about half of its overtime and 25 percent of its regular time allocated in its snow budget.

Monday's snowstorm left parts of the Hudson Valley with 6 inches of snow.

More snow will develop overnight into Wednesday, mixing with sleet toward daybreak.
