MAMARONECK - Two award-winning sand artists and TV personalities were at the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club to create a one-of-a-kind sculpture.

Matt Long and Andy Gertler, featured on the show “Sand Masters,” were commissioned by the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club to celebrate the character of the Long Island Sound waterfront.

The artists told News 12 that they have created about 100 sculptures together across the world.

Their sculpture, which is protected by a wind screen, will be on display for visitors to enjoy.
