YONKERS - Grocery and hardware stores across the Hudson Valley are busy selling supplies today as residents prepare in advance of tomorrow's storm.

News 12's Blaise Gomez reports that Werner's Hardware store in the village of Florida is doing brisk business in salt, shovels, snowblowers and space heaters.

Many residents say they don't plan on going anywhere tomorrow due to poor road conditions and mass transit delays and cancellations.

With a classic nor'easter moving up the East Coast, Amtrak is suspending some of its rail service in the Northeast, South and Mid-Atlantic regions for today.

Airlines are also announcing more than 2,500 flight cancellations, and officials at Westchester County Airport recommend fliers check with their carriers.
