The Gilchrest family says building management for the Westchester Hills Condo Complex has since placed new sheetrock over the exposed beams, but they feel unsafe.

The entire wall needs to be replaced and the family was told they could be out of the apartment for an entire month.

The family says they don't have anywhere to go, and won't be receiving any money to stay in a hotel.

The Greenburgh Buildings Department inspected the apartment and says there is minor structural damage and a contractor has been hired to fix the wall.
