Reginald Powell sentenced to life without parole for murder of Jennifer Katz

Ex-con gets life without parole for murder (2/28/13)

MAMARONECK - An ex-con from White Plains, found guilty of murdering a Mamaroneck mother, was sentenced today to life without parole.

Reginald Powell had been convicted of fatally stabbing Jennifer Katz nearly two years ago inside her home, where he was working as a handyman. 

Powell was arrested after police found him driving Katz's car.

He is an admitted drug addict who had previously served 24 years in prison for another murder.
