Police: No suspects in murder of 81-year-old Peggy Nadell in Valley Cottage
VALLEY COTTAGE - Police say they have no suspects in the gruesome death of a Valley Cottage woman this past weekend.
Peggy Nadell, 81, was found fatally stabbed at her home on Andover Road where she lived alone. Police say she had been murdered sometime between Friday evening and Saturday morning and she appeared to have suffered some trauma to her body. There was no signs of forced entry at her house, but police aren't saying whether her home was burglarized.
Nadell's daughter Suzanne, of Airmont, was the one who called 911 and told dispatchers her mother fell on a knife.
