The Mount Vernon Fire Department suspended Clayton without pay for 30 days, but it's not first time the firefighter has been in trouble with the law.
This incident marks the eighth time that Clayton has been arrested since 1996. Two of those arrests were for felony charges. Clayton has been arrested once since becoming a firefighter six years ago.
The pregnant victim was taken to the hospital with cuts and bruises. Charges may be upgraded against the Claytons if her baby was harmed.
