A Stony Point man is accused of two home burglaries that happened just moments apart.

STONY POINT - A Stony Point man is accused of two home burglaries that happened just moments apart.

Police say Joshua Meighan forced himself into an apartment at the Knight's Corner Senior Complex on Thursday. He allegedly made physical contact with a victim inside before taking off with cash and a laptop.

Moments later, Meighan allegedly burglarized a second apartment.

Meighan is being held in the Rockland County Jail and is facing many charges. Officials say he's also accused of another burglary in the town of Haverstraw.
