NEWBURGH - A Newburgh couple accused of dealing drugs from their apartment was arrested Thursday.

Police arrested Andre Solis, 35, and his 31-year-old girlfriend Tierra Johnson early Thursday morning. Police say they found $20,000 worth of heroin and crack-cocaine in the apartment on Broadway.

Police say they found nearly 1,000 bags of heroin and 23 grams of crack-cocaine. Cash and packaging paraphernalia were also found.

Newburgh police say Solis is a parolee and Johnson has several prior convictions.
