YONKERS - Officials say that a fire at a Yonkers apartment building last night was intentionally set.

Dozens of residents were evacuated Tuesday evening after flames broke out around 7 p.m. on the seventh floor of 461 Riverdale Ave.

Two people were injured in the fire and sent to the hospital in critical condition.

Tenants have since been allowed back in the building.

The building's tenants association is holding a residents meeting on Saturday at 1 p.m. to discuss issues related to the fire. It will be held at the Yonkers Riverfront Library.
