WHITE PLAINS - An NYPD officer accused of attempted murder was arraigned Thursday and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Authorities say Officer Brendan Cronin, of Yonkers, was off duty and drunk when he opened fire at a car stopped at a red light in Pelham back in April. One of the men inside the car, Robert Borrelli, attended Thursday's hearing.

"I thought it was important to know that he impacted two lives," says Borrelli. His friend, Joseph Felice, was hit with six bullets in the shooting, but survived. The victims' attorney says there was no conversation or connection between the two men and Cronin before he started firing.

Cronin allegedly used his service weapon in the shooting and court documents show he had 10 drinks after he left a shooting range in the Bronx.
