YONKERS - Heavy rains led to a mudslide in Yonkers that caused delays for Metro-North.

A retention wall partially collapsed Wednesday along Warburton Avenue, causing mud and rocks to slide onto the Glenwood Station tracks.

Two of the four tracks were out of commission for the morning commute. One of the two closed tracks reopened at around 11 a.m., but the other remains covered in mud. Northbound trains are once again making stops at the Riverdale, Ludlow, Glenwood and Greystone stations.

Officials say it will take a couple of months to repair the problem, but commuters should not expect any more delays.
