Another batch of fresh snow is on the ground, but many people across the Hudson Valley are still digging out from last week's storm.

Residents in the community say DPW crews are barely making a dent in removing snow from all the side streets.

The Mount Vernon DPW commissioner tells us the narrow alleys are to blame as well as the neighbors. "People clearing their cars are putting the snow back into the streets, so it's similar to a lot of other municipalities where getting the roads to the blacktop has been difficult especially when the temperatures are dropping," says Commissioner Curtis Woods

Woods says if you have a road in Mount Vernon that needs shoveling or plowing contact the DPW.
